Cramer opening for the prosecution

Jeffrey Cramer, that is, not this guy. [A brief mention of Jeffrey H. Cramer can be found in this article.] The Globe and Mail mentions that he's a folksy lawyer, who evidently was picked so as to make the prosecution's case comprehensible to the jury. The same article also mentions that the opener for the defense, Edward Genson, is expected to be equally down-to-earth. There won't be a cap-&-gown in sight, to put it another way. (A briefer write-up can be found here.)

To move to another subject: A columnist for the out-of-Arlington-Heights (Illinois) Daily Herald, Chuck Goudie, describes how things are going to be run in the "media pen" area of the trial room.
